Webster and Archie got backyard time today.
Archie spent about 45 minutes under the bench by the porch stairs.
And spent the second hour not getting much beyond the patio.
While webster went about as far as the leash would let him.

Such handsome cats.
It makes me want to look into leashes for Calvin & Troy. I want to be able to let them out on the back deck when I am reading or gardening, but not always have to watch them with an eagle eye. Are the leashes pretty affordable?

The harnesses were about $8 each, the leashes about $6 each. Another $10 for the long line that connects them.
When I am with them, they are just connected to each other. If I have to go in for even a minute, I make sure they are anchored to something, on the off chance they learn to cooperate.
