Kaleidoscope Image - Marbles

I haven't lost all my marbles, I found some to put in a kaleidoscope.

I absolutely love these kaleidoscope photos. I've never seen or heard of anyone attempting photos of the images formed in a kaleidoscope before...what a wonderful and novel idea! Thank you so much for posting so many pictures. They're beautiful!

not very novel -- i had looked at a good many such images on the web before i posted any

most of those seem much better than mine

this is one of those things that digital cameras make so much easier than film -- i find the digital display easier for setting up such things than even a film slr, and the immediate feedback of the actual image makes trial & error so much easier

also, i download them and can see them on the monitor while it is still relatively easy to reshoot

i used roughly ten percent of the shots i took

with film, i wouldn't have been learning as i went, i would have been bracketing, i would have been trying to keep costs down by taking fewer shots

digital is great
