These large semi-soft jacks were not difficult to cut with a sturdy pair of sharp scissors.I have to confess that this wasn't much of a kaleidoscope experience -- the large pieces fit tightly enough that they didn't move around much unless I pulled the cap off and shook things up.
Smaller pieces might work better. And perhaps mixed with something slipperier.
