Sand Labyrinth

This morning I discovered a new labyrinth down at the beach - this time made of sand instead of rocks.

I always enjoy walking labyrinths, and it is especially nice to walk one that is new & different. This one is a both a new location and a new method of construction.

Fun.

Odds & ends

My camera uses a red led to illuminate dim subjects for focus assist. Archie is certainly dim, and finds the red light intensely interesting. He probably suspects it of some association with the exciting red dot generated by the laser pointer.

Leon is more interested in the content of the chrimmus sock.

The Olympic Mountains may be hidden by clouds, but the foothills, and the low cloud bank are intriguing in their own right.

I rather enjoyed this view from above of a path crossing a creek on stepping stones then continuing on planks.

Christmas is coming

A favorite thing about Christmas is Jo's decorating, and this year's mantle is especially fun, with her wooden houses surrounded by evergreen trees and Tomten figures.
