A favorite thing about Christmas is Jo's decorating, and this year's mantle is especially fun, with her wooden houses surrounded by evergreen trees and Tomten figures.
This is wonderful. For several days I have been thinking about finding the Tomten books, seeing Jo's houses & tomtens is a great inspiration. Perhaps being snowed in today will be the opportunity!

While Jo's houses are warm and dry on the mantle, one of mine went out in the snow.

Is there a fox lurking behind the houses?
Took me a few minutes to figure out the fox reference.
Jo will get the book down from the attic tomorrow -- and a little fox that can go back in the trees where you have to search for it.
Took me a while to find this comment for moderation too -- I didn't get the email notification I am supposed to.
I am glad you got the reference and found the comment. I knew the reference was oblique except perhaps to my kids-- but I didn't test them.
