Yesterday Jo & I took my mom to lunch in Richmond Beach. It was a day of bright sunshine & blue skies, and we enjoyed the flowers coming along in people's yards, and made a brief tour down along the beach.
Todays' picture is not as pretty, but I didn't take any pictures yesterday. In some ways I prefer it - and not just because of the ship, which wasn't there yesterday.
No trains yesterday either.

Innis Arden
I wandered out to Richmond Beach today, scouting for a possible outing for my mother. Unfortunately, neither the place we had in mind for lunch nor another destination are open Mondays.
Oh well.
Coming back through Innis Arden, I was delighted with the above view of a ferry boat between houses. The dark reflection of the distant hillsides is not an everyday occurrence.
Earlier, I had been attracted to the trio of cormorants (at right) riding a log quite a ways off shore.
So I had a nice outing & picked up some library books, even if our ideas for Monday will need reconfiguring.

Picnic Point
Yesterday I was wandering further afield than usual & ended up at Picnic Point. From the footbridge over the railroad tracks, you can see an old beached ship hull.
Later, just north of Edmonds, I saw my first Brant of the season. Dozens spread out along the beach a little further up, and these two inspecting me more closely.
